Tree art is a family owned business started by Erv Doane in Cocoa Beach FL back in 1991. In 1995 the business relocated to Pigeon Forge TN, to escape the Florida heat and to live among the beautiful Smokeys. Here, the business became family run. Erv’s wife Holli took over the detailing work, the fine tuning and painting that takes place after a piece has been fully carved. In 2018 Erv’s son Jeff moved up to learn the family business. After a 2 year apprenticeship with his his dad and step mom, Jeff now runs the business after they decided it was time to retire where he maintains the quality of work that has made Tree Art the best quality chainsaw carvings in the area. Tree Art is still a family affair. Erv and Holli still craft pieces of art in their spare time keeping a presence of their work alive at Tree Art. So stop on by when you are in the area and see us.
